Canadian Tire in the Media

I found this video on YouTube of Rick Mercer visiting Canadian Tire on his show “The Rick Mercer Report”.  This shows a blend of Canadian media and a Canadian retailer.  The fact that Canadian Tire is an entirely Canadian company is important to me.  I’m sure that many other Canadians would agree with me in saying that they would tend to be more loyal to a “home grown” business, rather than a foreign one.

In the world today so many companies that were once Canadian are being sold and becoming American, such as Tim Horton`s.  But through the years one company has always remained entirely Canadian, and that company is Canadian Tire.  It is important to show a sense of pride and dedications to ones country, and Canadian Tire is a prime example of this.
